Older Workers
Just because you've reached retirement age doesn't mean the opportunity to 'contribute' to the world of work should end - especially if you want to stay involved. This section offers some information about what you may like to do next.
Retiring - When you have been working for most of your life, retirement can sometimes come as a shock. Although you may have been looking forward to retirement, many people have a "well, what now?" feeling once they have broken away from the day-to-day routine of a working life.
Pension Advice - With all the stories about pensions in the news lately you can be forgiven for being a bit confused about it all. What pension is right for you, do you have enough for your retirement, when should you start saving into a pension? These are all questions that a lot of us are currently asking.
Opportunities in retirement - Being retired may mean you have more time to do the things you've always wanted to. Or you might want to look for new ideas to do things you never knew you'd enjoy. In any case there are a range of opportunities you can enjoy in retirement.
Age Discrimination - Society is changing and the working population as a whole is getting older. The number of people aged under 50 is set to fall by two per cent by 2016, while the number aged between 50 and 69 is set to increase by 17 per cent. Better health standards mean that some people are choosing to work longer.
