About the Connecting Chester Telematics Group.

The Telematics Group was established by the Economic Development Forum to maximise the use of information and communications technology for the benefit of the local economy.

• To identify the needs of the local economy for access to and use of communications technology.
• To maximise access to communications technology through awareness raising and training.
• To provide a forum for the exchange of information on best practice, development opportunities and innovation.
• To enable partnership opportunities between sectors to develop the use of communications technology and deliver specific initiatives.
• To identify and establish mechanisms for delivering agreed initiatives.
• To identify opportunities to promote Chester's economy through the use of communications technology.
