Empty Homes
The council works to ensure that empty homes are brought back into use as soon as possible and are kept safe and secure in the interim period while they are empty.
If you know of any vacant or unsecured houses, please contact: Tim Hobson, Housing Officer, Regeneration, The Council, The Forum, Chester, CH1 2HS, Tel: 01244 402572, e-mail:housing@chester.gov.uk

2004. These include; Enforced Sale Procedure, Empty
Dwelling Management Orders
and
Compulsory
Purchase Orders.
The City Council has an empty property grant available (maximum £1,000) to help contribute to the costs involved in bringing empty properties back into use. The application form and explanatory guidance notes are available below.
