Lettings Agents Forum
The council set up the Letting and Managing Agents Forum in 2006 to engage with and discuss matters of mutual interest in the provision of rental accommodation in the private sector. Speakers are drawn from both internal and external sources and cover a range of relevant topics.
Attendance at meetings is increasing as as the Forum develops with invitations and minutes being sent out to all Agents together with any specific updates, whether attending the meetings or not.
The Forum meets twice a year on an informal basis in the Town Hall to develop a partnership with mutual benefits of improving housing standards, management and the positive contribution the private sector makes to housing need provision in the area.
A copy of the most recent minutes of the meeting are sent out to all the members of the Forum and the most recent minutes are included here.
