Conservation Areas under review
Since the beginning of 2006 the City Council has embarked upon a plan to review conservation areas across Chester.
There are 61 conservation areas within the District which will be reviewed over the next five years in partnership with Chester Civic Trust. Character assessments will be produced for each area in line with new performance indicators which look at how conservation areas are managed.
Draft Appraisals have been completed on the twenty one conservation areas listed below. The Draft Conservation Area Appraisals were available for consultation from 9 May 2008 until 20 June 2008:
