A timetable of the forthcoming Planning Board dates is set out below. More complex planning applications and those where objections have been received, are usually reported to the Planning Board for a decision.

Planning Board Reports 2008
You can see the papers that will be shown to the Board about your application, these will be available at least five working days before the meeting is held. To view the reports please click the relevant link from the list below.

Will my application go before a planning board?
The majority of planning applications do not go before the council's planning board. More complex planning applications and those where objections have been received, are usually reported to the Planning Board for a decision. The public may see the papers that will be shown to the Planning Board about the applications and these are available for inspection at our offices, for at least five working days before the meeting is held. To view the Planning Board Reports select the relevant month from the list.
You are welcome to attend the Planning Board meeting and listen, although you are unable to participate in the debate. If you do attend the meeting, please arrive by 10.15am and advise the Clerk of the item you are interested in and it will be considered as early as possible.
How can I get a householder planning application to go before the planning board?
If there is a householder planning application you would like to see go before planning board then you must get in contact with your local councillor. They must contact us to request the application goes before planning board within 28 days of the application being received.
Can I attend Planning Board, and if so, am I able to speak?
Yes, members of the public can attend but currently, the Council do not allow people to make public addresses. This will be changing soon and the details will be made available for the September meeting.
