Property Development Objectives

The property reinvestment programme (PRP) is the council's property vehicle which enables the council to invest into regeneration projects and property developments which meet identified corporate objectives of the Council.

PRP aims to:

• Identify and implement of development projects in and around Chester including office, retail, leisure and industrial developments.
• Work with the private sector to help deliver all forms of property development.
• Provide commercial property advice to other city council departments regarding development proposals.
• Help the council deliver identified corporate objectives.
• Help improve the council's property portfolio.
• Examples of recent and up coming developments are Jupiter Drive Employment Park and Autozone Chester.
• Assist the council's medium term financial strategy by significantly enhancing the income stream generated from the councils property portfolio.
