Trade Waste - Household Permit Scheme

Cheshire County Council is launching a new scheme to help tackle illegally dumped Trade Waste.

Household Waste Recycling Centre's ( HWRC's ) are provided and paid for by the residents of Cheshire as places where they may recycle their household waste. Waste arising from commercial premises or prodcued in the course of a business cannot legally be accepted at these centres.

In an effort to prevent Trade Waste being brought to Cheshire's HWRC's; The County Council will be introducing Household Waste Permit's.

As of the 24th of July 2006, any vehicle over a certain size (Vans, Pickups, Trailors etc - for exact measurements, see link below) will be refused entry to HWRC's in Cheshire unless they display a permit. The permits are free of charge and can be obtained by clicking the link below.
