Burial/Grave Details

Over 60,000 burial records (1850 - 1950) from Overleigh Old Cemetery are currently available online by clicking the following link Cheshire County Council Burial Records (External Link).

An additional 100,000 burial and cremation records are available from Chester Cemetery Handbridge (Overleigh Old & New) and Chester Cemetery Blacon, along with Chester Crematorium.  These records along with any additional information can be obtained by direct contact with the Cheshire Registrar's Office who maintains burial and cremation records for Blacon Cemetery, Overleigh Cemeteries and Chester Crematorium.

Citizens may apply to the Registrar to search burial and cremation records. A fee may be payable for the searching of burial records.
