Important Reminder When Making An Application!
The Licensing Team try to offer as accomodating a service as we can however, due to the sheer number of customers we deal with, we must operate an appointments only system. If you would like to submit your application in person; please always call us in advance to arrange an appointment to avoid dissapointment. You can call between 8.30am and 4.45pm on 01244 402 300, 402 138 or 402 646.
If you do not have an appointment, we may not be able to see you.
Private Hire Drivers
Please note that as of 21st February 2008, all new applicants for a Private Hire Driver's Licence will be required to pass a knowledge test. This will be to prove their understanding of the law for Hire & Reward drivers and to demonstrate their knowledge of the local area.

Private Hire Vehicles
This application form can be used to apply for a new Private Hire Vehicle Licence, to Renew an exisiting Licence or to apply to Transfer a Private Hire Vehicle Licence from one vehicle to another.
