How to pay Online

The service is provided by Girobank Billpay Website (external link) on behalf of the Council. You do not need a Girobank account to use the system but you will be asked to register as a BillPay user the first time you log on to make a payment. This is so that we know who has paid in case of an error or problem with your payment, you will not receive any unsolicited mail or other communications from the Council or Girobank as a result. 

Once you are ready to make a payment you will be asked for your invoice reference number.

You can find this number (it is 1 alpha character, followed by 8 numeric characters) on the top right section of your invoice.

The whole of the number, alpha and numeric must be used. 

Please double check that you have entered this information correctly as an error may cause your payment to be posted incorrectly.
