Major freight terminals at Trafford Park and Seaforth provide easy access to International freight terminals, placing Europe on the region's doorstep. Further terminal developments in the region are anticipated as the Channel Tunnel traffic grows.

Air Travel

Over 170 worldwide, European and UK routes are served by 70 airlines out of Manchester International Airport, just 30 minutes motorway drive from Chester. Manchester Airport's World Freight Terminal provides excellent facilities, which are uniquely incorporated into one purpose built site.

Private flights and executive aircraft are also catered for at Chester Airport, just 3 miles from Chester.

The UK's most central deep sea port at Liverpool provides extensive facilities for handling the widest range of cargoes. The Port's principal container services connect the North West of England with North America, and the Mediterranean,  and Liverpool is a gateway for Irish trade. The Port's Freeport is the most successful in the U.K. offering freedom from Import Duty, Import VAT , EC levies and quotes.
