Student Finance

You can apply for financial support as soon as you've applied for a place at college or university. Application forms are available from March each year. Applying early will make sure your finances are sorted for the beginning of term.

You can apply for a grant, help with fees and a student loan on the same form. Contact your local education authority (LEA) for a form or visit the Cheshire LEA Student Finance Website (external link).  Your LEA will work out how much help you can get. Payments are normally made at the start of the term.
