If internal property flooding occurs

Residents should ring the respective company to whom they pay sewerage rates, namely Dwr Cymru Welsh Water (External Link) (0800 085 3968) or United Utilities (External Link) (0845 6020406), with as much information as possible including the nature, location and source of the flooding.

If internal property flooding occurs from foul sewage in residential property and/or commercial premises

Contact should also be made with the council Environmental Protection and Management Team on 01244 402310 (working hours) or 01244 324324 (out of hours).

If internal property flooding occurs from foul sewage in food premises

Information should be sought from the council Food Safety team on 01244 402302 (working hours) or 01244 324324 (out of hours).

Obstructions in rivers and streams

These should be notified to the council Call Centre on  01244 402477 (working hours) or 01244 324324 (out of hours).

Blocked roadside gullies or ditches

These should be reported to Cheshire County Council Highways (External Link) on 01244 603475 (24 hrs).
