Chester District Citizens Advice Bureau

The CAB Service aims to ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge of their rights and responsibilities or of the services available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively and equally to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services, both locally and nationally.
Chester Citizens Advice Bureau can give free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information on a wide range of subjects. They work with you to sort out any debt worries and claim all the benefits you may be entitled to. The CAB can help with housing and employment problems, or deal with queries about consumer or tax issues or advise on legal matters, answer questions about immigration and deal with a range of family or personal matters too.
The CAB is a charity with a workforce of paid staff and trained volunteers and their funding comes from various sources, from a Chester City Council grant to the National Lottery. Chester CAB is a member of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, which provides the extensive information system we use to advise clients and sets standards for advice, training, equal opportunities and accessibility in the bureau.
