The Amphitheatre Project is a high priority in the policy of Chester City Council, and is a designated English Heritage Beacon Project. It is conceived as an integrated partnership between the two bodies. This section will provide you with all the information that the project unearths.

Excavation Proposals

The Chester Amphitheatre Project is scheduled to run for three years. The aims and objectives for the first two years have already been established, with further aims to be decided depending on the outcome of the initial studies.
