Cheshire based artist Julia Midgely and local Chester based photographer David Heke have been down to the site regularly, documenting the goings on throught their own unique styles.
An online diary know as a Blog (short for weB LOG) has been set up for the archaeologists to directly publish their thoughts.
It is hoped that this will allow the team to publish information as quickly as possible, and also allow the public to interact by leaving comments on the posts.
