Charisma! What Is it?

It's a resident loyalty card that encourages people living in the Chester district to shop, wine and dine and do lots more in the City and its environs.

You get a Charisma card if you live in the Chester District - FREE!

It gives you FREE admission to the magnificent 1000 year old Cathedral as well as access to a host of offers available at local restaurants, attractions, stores and hair salons. Over 200 businesses currently offer Charisma card holders special deals. More are joining the scheme all the time - just look for Charisma sticker in their window!

Ultra-hot offers and exclusive competitions feature in the free, monthly Welcome to Chester & Cheshire Guide that you can pick up at the Town Hall Tourist Information Centre, the City Council offices in The Forum, Chester Visitor Centre and local libraries, and Chester News, the City council magazine for residents that's mailed to households in the Chester district 3 times a year.

Discount car parking

Your car park pass saves you money on parking at city-centre car parks. Card holders can get a special Charisma car park pass for their car for just £3 a year but you’ll recoup the costs many times over thanks to the savings you can make on parking.

You now get discount car parking with your Charisma windscreen sticker at the following six car parks:

• Princess Street Car Park – 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hours
• New Crane Street – Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hours
• Cuppin Street – Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hour
• Gorse Stacks - Up to 4 hours parking for the price of 2 hour
• Northgate (off Victoria Road) – unlimited parking 10am – 6pm for only £2
• Little Roodee Car Park – 6 hours parking for the price of 3 hours
