Twinning Activities

Exchanges and visits are taking place on a regular basis and further contacts are being made constantly.

In 2004, for example, students from West Cheshire College took part in the 'Pane Nostrum' Bread Festival in Senigallia and representatives from various Chester organisations also attend annual trade fairs in all partner towns. We have recently also welcomed several groups of students from Senigallia and Lörrach, who visited Chester to improve their English.

In 2006, we hope to take part in these annual events again, whilst also encouraging new links and exchanges.

A group of youngsters from various Chester sports clubs will travel to our French twin town of Sens to take part in the annual Youth Games, which are held in a different partner town each year. We are also trying to develop links between Chester schools. For example, a new link has been established between Chester Primary Schools and primary schools in Senigallia and we hope that young people will benefit from this exciting new partnership.
