Do you have walking difficulties? Do you find it difficult to do your shopping? Borrow a Scooter or Wheelchair and get the freedom to shop in Chester!
A scheme which provides manual and electrically powered wheelchairs and 3/4 wheel scooters to help people who have walking difficulties to do their shopping.
Phone for details of opening hours - advance booking is recommended and two forms of personal identification are required.
Located off Frodsham Street, in the Kaleyards Car Park. Vehicle entrance by Yates' Wine lodge, pedestrian entrance between `Adams' and `Dave Millers' cycle shop (01244312626).
Plus Bus
PlusBus is a door-to-door minibus service for those who have mobility difficulties and cannot use public transport. The service is run by ECT in partnership with Cheshire County Council, Chester City Council and Ellesmere Port & Neston Borough Council.

Rural Community Car Scheme
An innovative 'accessible transport' project delivered in partnership with the Cheshire Community Council and Cheshire County Council. The Scheme aims to reduce the transport isolation of disabled people living in rural parts of Chester District. The scheme has subsequently been extended to the urban area also.
