Anti-Social Behaviour Action Area

Chester Action Area - Community Safety PosterThe Government has chosen Chester among only 50 other cities in England as an Action Area for combating Crime & Anti-Social Behaviour. Action Area status recognises how Chester Community safety Partnership, under the 'TOGETHER' campaign, is dealing with anti social behaviour in the district.

The Action Area status was awarded as an example of how the Partnership is leading the way in targeting repeat offenders. The Home Office has awarded significant funding to Chester Community Safety Partnership to assist future initiatives and to support Chesters' Action Area status under the 'TOGETHER' campaign.

'TOGETHER' is a national campaign that will take a stand against Anti-Social Behaviour, putting the needs of local communities first. Chester 'TOGETHER' will deliver a co-ordinated and targeted approach towards addressing anti-social behaviour in the Chester District.
