Objectives
Improve the Environment
Through increased streetscene monitoring, inspection and problem solving. Initiating and contributing to environmental schemes. Collaboration with other council sectors such as street cleaners and refuse collection services also co-operation with the environmental agency.

Tackle Anti Social Behaviour
Working together with partners to provide public re-assurance on Community Safety issues. Addressing problem areas and investigating complaints whilst maintaining a highly visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and related problems.
Enforcement & Intelligence Gathering
In liaison with various in house services and external partners intelligence is gathered and recorded using various data-bases. This information is then analysed to provide initiatives on how to prevent and/or tackle future occurances.
Friend on the Street
Promoting social inclusion, community pride and contributing to regeneration. Highly visible street patrols, clearly marked vehicles and friendly but authoritive figures who tackle a range of community issues.
Outcomes
- Reduce the Fear of Crime
- Long Term reduction in the number of reported incidents of crime and anti social behaviour
- Increase level of public satisfaction with Chester District Public Space
