Initial emphasis on communities where services have been lost and ensuring a district-wide response. Need to be focussed and flexible in these early stages

• Rural Communities (Project Rural Matters)

• Responsibilities from re-engineered services i.e. Blacon Crematorium, The River, Groves, Parks and Open Spaces, City Centre Car Parks
• The Rows

Medium Term

As above but with increasing emphasis on information from

• Area Committees and Parish Councils
• Police statistics and POP reports
• Warden experiences, CCTV statistics and data analysis from other City Council Services
• Residents and Businesses - reported concerns
• Community Safety Community groups (Inc. Homewatch)

Long Term

(3 additional staff available) As above plus

• Neighbourhood-based
• Part of a multi-agency response
• Responding to community needs and long term problems
