Lache Community Centre
Lache Community Centre is now a directly managed Council

can be used independently or as an extension to the main

which has been adapted to house a Parents and Toddlers Group which
operates in partnership with the local NCH Family Centre but is
also available for smaller group and committee meetings; a kitchen
for use in association with Centre bookings; and a snooker
room with a full-sized table
The Centre is home for a range of local voluntary groups, including

The Council owns the building and employs a part-time caretaker. The programme and bookings are managed by the voluntary Blacon Community Association.
Regular users are the playgroup, an elderly persons' club, an afternoon dance club for older persons and children's dance troupes. The Community Association also runs regular fund-raising Bingo sessions.
The Centre is available for outside bookings for functions such as private parties, wedding receptions, discos and dances.
Line management for the part-time caretaker at Blacon is provided by the Supervisor at Lache Community Centre.
