Chester in Partnership

The Local Strategic partnership for Chester.

'Chester in Partnership' is Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for the Chester District. This organisation aims to 'bring together the local authorities, all service providers, local businesses and the full range of voluntary organisations and community groups in the Chester District in order to achieve a fully joined-up approach to tackling economic, social and environmental issues, for the benefit of all the communities within the Chester District.

More specifically, the objectives of the LSP include maintaining and reviewing the Community Plan 'Chester Way Ahead' as the strategic framework for individual and joint action; to work together to tackle neighbourhood deprivation in the poorest communities in the district; to provide a link between the range of different partnerships/forums/organisations and agencies in the Chester District and its sub-region, specifically the Cheshire Partnership.

Chester's Way Ahead

Chester's Way Ahead is the Community Plan for Chester District.  During the winter of 2004/5 Chester in Partnership reviewed and updated Chester's Way Ahead, bringing our knowledge of local people's concerns up to date, and focusing on what we can achieve through the community plan.
