Information and support material

  • Does your group achieve as much as it could?
  • Do people listen as well as you'd like?
  • Is the group's purpose and strategy clear?
  • Its become popular for groups to have an "away day" to take stock of strengths and weaknesses and plan how to make the most of its resources and opportunities.
  • A good "away day" does not happen by chance.  It needs to be designed and facilitated.

Aims:

To help:

  • Assess where to focus a specific "away day" (between relationships, strategy and processes)
  • Design an "away day" that helps the group consider its issues and plan ahead.
  • Be confident using a range of materials for helping a group engage in an "away day".
