- A good "away day" does not happen by chance. It needs to be designed and facilitated.

- Assess where to focus a specific "away day" (between relationships, strategy and processes)
- Design an "away day" that helps the group consider its issues and plan ahead.
- Be confident using a range of materials for helping a group engage in an "away day".
