Bride and Groom - Close up of wedding ringsMore and more couples are 'breaking with tradition' and getting married in places other than a church.  There are over one hundred licensed venues in Cheshire where you can have a civil marriage ceremony. The wide range of venues (known as "Approved Premises") ensures that you will be able to find a venue to suit your individual taste.

As well as Chester Town Hall there are a whole range of different venues capable of holding wedding ceremonies. You can search through the available premises by visiting Cheshire County Council's interactive Wedding Guide (external link)
