Hints on Tendering

Should you wish to bid for work with Chester City Council the tender documents you will receive will usually include the following: 

• Covering letter
• Instruction to the tenderer
• Tender Questionnaire
• Specification
• Contract Conditions
• Pricing document
• Form of tender

All documentation should be read thoroughly. Relatively simple mistakes such as tenders arriving after the deadline, being mis-labelled or not including all information requested will mean that tenders are not considered. This effectively means that all the time you have spent drawing the tender together has been wasted.
