Artist's Impression of how the Northgate Development will lookThe Northgate Development Scheme will provide a mixed use regeneration of the Northgate area of Chester with the construction of 440,000 square feet of retail space, a 145,000 square feet department store, a new Performing Arts Centre, a new 600+ multistorey car park facility and a new bus station, 112 residential units, a new market and a new library.

Ing Real Estate has been appointed by Chester City Council to redevelop the area fronting onto Northgate and behind Watergate Street to create a new quarter for the people of Chester. Since the appointment, extensive discussions have taken place with members of the Council, its officers and various national and local bodies such as English Heritage and the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment.

This website sets out to answer just a few of the questions you may with to ask. Inevitably, there will be many more questions that we haven't answered but please feel free to write or call us.
