Transitional Arrangements

Property values normally change a good deal between each revaluation. Transitional arrangements (external link) soften the impact of revaluation by phasing in the changes to the rates bill over a period of time.

Small businesses are defined as those with a rateable value of less than £15,000.

We will automatically give you the transitional adjustment if it is appropriate and this will be shown on your bill.
