How to pay Online

The service is provided by Girobank's BillPay scheme on behalf of the Council. You do not need a Girobank account to use the system but you will be asked to register as a BillPay user the first time you log on to make a payment. This is so that we know who has paid in case of an error or problem with your payment, you will not receive any unsolicited mail or other communications from the Council or Girobank as a result. 

When you input the details of your payment on the Girobank site you will be asked to quote your Council Tax reference number.

You can find this number (it is 9 digits and starts either 100 or 110) on the top right section of your original Council Tax bill. If you have received a reminder it will be at the bottom right.
