Service Charges

The council offers many services for ensuring places are clean and safe for people to use. These services cover issues such as pest control and are available to both businesses and the public.

However due to the nature of the work the council have to charge a fee for these services. Details of which can be found below:

Pest Control

Rodents - Trade Premises ONLY

Contract - £36 per hour. Minimum charge for 1 hour (a)
Casual - £59 per hour (a)

Insects

Commercial Contracts - £36 per hour (a)
Commercial Casual - £59 per hour (a)

Domestic - £26.50 per visit (a) - does not cover rats, mice or bed bugs.

 

Control of Dogs

Kennelling - £2.65 per day (d), maximum stay of 7 days
Release of Animal - £44 (d)
Sale of Animal - £50 (d)

 

Other Services and Charges

Environmental Information

Provision of Information - £130 (a). Bonafide requests from students or voluntary groups are exempt

For more detailed requests there is also an extra charge of £65 per hour (d) of research time.
