Transitional Arrangements

Premises Licences

Applicants can apply for one of the following options:

• Fast Track application – made by an existing holder of a licence who accepts the default conditions that will be attached to the converted licence.
• Non Fast Track application – made by an existing holder of a licence who seeks to vary the default conditions that would otherwise be attached to the converted licence.

The first Annual Fee for licences granted under the transitional arrangements will be payable on 30th September or 30 days after the effective date, whichever is later.

Clubs holding a Club Premises Certificate under the Licensing Act 2003 may make a Fast Track application for a Club Gaming Permit or a Club Gaming Machine Permit.  Clubs not holding a Club Premises Certificate must make a Non Fast Track application.

These fees will be reviewed after 12months of operation

Premises Licence Fees

The first Annual Fee is payable 30 days after the effective date of the Premises Licence and subsequent Annual Fees are payable before each anniversary of the date on which the licence is issued.

Under the Act, a licensing authority must revoke a premises licence if a licence holder fails to pay the Annual Fee, except where the Authority thinks the failure to pay is due to an administrative error.
