Private Hire Licensing
Policy & Conditions

Private Hire Licences are subject to the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act of 1976. Under this Act many mandatory conditions are attached to all Licences, the Act also allows Local Authorities to attach there own conditions. Holders of any form of Private Hire Licence issued by Chester City Council must adhere to these conditions, failure to do so can result in the revokation of a Licence. Below is a list of Policy documents and Conditions that are available for download.
