Nature Parks and Managed Sites

The Countryside Team manages areas of green space across the District, for the benefit of public enjoyment and nature conservation.  We work closely with local groups to ensure the areas satisfy the needs of those who use them, as well as enhancing local wildlife.

Grazing

The agricultural land owned by the Council is managed using grazing livestock. If you would like further information about grazing and grazing licences please contact Kathryn Jones on 01244 402653 or email countryside@chester.gov.uk
