Mission

The One Earth Festival seeks to provide opportunities for environmental organisations, local authorities, community groups and individual artists to raise awareness of the environment through creative activities. In doing so, members of the public, especially families, will gain the means to learn about and engage with environmental issues, helping to reduce their global footprints and develop healthier lifestyles.

• demonstrate the application of renewable energy and low impact living and promote public participation in reducing, repairing, reusing, and recycling.
• support ethical trading standards.
• raise awareness of environmental issues in fun-filled and creative ways.
• encourage positive participation for all by providing a free-entry event with activities, displays and demonstrations appealing to all ages and abilities.
