There are various markets held in Chester and these are listed below:

Indoor Market

You can find the indoor market in The Forum Shopping Centre, across from TJ Hughes, and opposite the bus station by the Town Hall.

Operating times are:   6 days a week, Monday to Saturday (8.00am - 5.30pm).

Cleanliness of the market is of a very high standard.   General cleaning is carried out by the authority's in-house cleaners every evening, 5 - 6pm, and throughout the day as and when necessary.

To rent a stall in the market on a casual/daily basis, the charge per stall is from £4.80 per day.   Please see link to

Sunday Market

This market takes place each Sunday in the Town Hall Square.

Stall rental is at £25.00 per stall per day

Produce Market

Held in the Town Hall Square on the 1st Wednesday of every month.   Approximately 25 stalls selling a wide range of locally produced food and drink.   The produce has been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, smoked or processed locally.

Stall rental is at £25.00 per stall per day.
