Online Forms

• Licensing Representation - make an offical representation relating to the application or granting of a licence.
• Order Licensing Forms - you can order a range of licensing forms to be sent to you in printed format
• Renew Lottery Licence Online - apply for a lottery licence renewal - please have your licence details ready, as written or displayed on your licence or your renewal letter.
• Sunday Trading Notification - Apply for  Sunday trading registration.  Please note that if your shop is smaller than 280sq.m, then an application is not required.

Important Reminder When Making An Application!

The Licensing Team try to offer as accomodating a service as we can however, due to the sheer number of customers we deal with, we must operate an appointments only system. If you would like to submit your application in person; please always call us in advance to arrange an appointment to avoid dissapointment. You can call between 8.30am and 4.45pm on 01244 402 300, 402 138 or 402 646.

If you do not have an appointment, we may not be able to see you.

Downloadable Forms

There are a range of downloadable licensing forms that need to be printed out and posted back to the Chester Licensing team.

• Fairgrounds - Persons wishing to operate a fairground on Council owned land are required to give the Council prior notice to holding the event. 
• Gambling Act 2005 (Under Construction) - Application forms for Licence under the Gambling Act 2005.
