Access
There is full independent access to the ground floor. This
includes Exhibition Gallery One, The Timeline Gallery, Roman
Galleries, Shop, Victorian Kitchen, Parlour and Entrance Hall,
Lecture Theatre and accessible toilet. The Art Gallery, The Silver
Gallery, Exhibition Gallery Two and the Natural History Gallery are
on the first floor, which is accessed via stairs. There is no lift.
The first and second floors of the Period House are also accessed
via stairs and there is no lift.
What We Do
We help people to enjoy and understand the story and heritage of Chester, both past and present, through collecting, caring for, documenting, exploring and interpreting objects and their related information.
