Chester Youth Fringe - Call for young people

Graffiti walls, video production, Internet art, fashion skills, drama, music workshops and performances, poetry and song writing workshops all are part of the arts development work provided for young people in and around Chester by Chester Youth Fringe.

The Youth Fringe has been running since 1996 and is funded by Chester Festivals Ltd and through the Regional Arts Lottery Programme. We are committed to developing innovative, imaginative and enjoyable ways of giving young people (aged 12-21) opportunities to improve their creative and artistic skills through a variety of high quality workshops and events.

Textile skills weekends

Music workshops with session musicians from Texas, Inspiral Carpets and Simply Red and showcase evenings at Alexander's Jazz Theatre

The Youth Fringe Cabaret Marquee at Sunday in the Park, featuring drama, music and comedy performances
