Virtual Chester

Virtual Chester is a City Council led project, funded by the New Opportunities Fund / Big Lottery Fund. The project produced web based learning materials about the history and development of Chester. It included a Virtual Reality model of Chester; information about buildings on the Millennium Festival Trail and provided access to archival material held by the City Council. 

The partners were:

• SEEN (Chester's Sustainable Environmental Education Network)
• University of Salford, Centre for Virtual Environments

The Virtual Chester web site is temporarily offline but will return soon, hosted by Chester University. There are also plans to develop the site further.
