Wheelchair Access

There are two entrances into the park - via the Old Dee Bridge or Greenway Street.  The entrance from the Old Dee Bridge is suitable for wheelchair users.  Note: there are wheelchair accessible parking bays in the Little Roodee Car Park which is reached via Castle Drive.   Greenway Street has cobbled surfaces and, therefore, this entrance may not be suitable for some wheelchair users. 

The pathways in the park are generally accessible.  However, the area in front of Minerva's Shrine is grass with no pathway to the monument and the nearby path is sloped with a relatively steep gradient.  There is an alternative level pathway near to the river that may be more accessible for wheelchair users and others with limited mobility.
