Ghosthunter Trail

Take a night-time journey around the eerie haunts of Chester's mysterious and murky past. Hear spine-chilling tales of ghosts, ghouls and things that go bump in the night.

7.30pm from the Town Hall Tourist Information Centre. Thursday, Friday & Saturday evenings June - October. Saturday evenings only November - May.

Price: Adults £5.00, Concs £4.00, Family Ticket (2 Adults & 2 Children) £13.00.  Tickets are also available on the night from the Shropshire Arms Pub on Northgate Street.  (All tickets bought on the night are £5)  Booking in advance advised.

Special Halloween Tours available on Friday 31st October 2008. Tickets must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

Roman Soldiers Patrol

Patrol Fortress Deva with Caius Julius Quartus! In full battle gear, he takes you on patrol and evokes the exciting adventures of an Imperial warrior.

A 2 hour tour which literally unlocks the secret treasures of Chester's past.

Chester Rows: The Inside Story

Unravel the mysterious past of Chester’s two tiered shopping galleries – this 2 hour tour takes you to parts of the city rich in hush-hush history and a tea shop where high tea is definitely on the menu.

It’s the Inside Story of the 700 year old rows from top to bottom and its full of surprises.

Every Wednesday & Friday at 2pm from 2nd May - 31st October. Departs from the Town Hall Tourist Information Centre

Christmas Tour

1 1/2 hour walking tour which celebrates the origins, traditions & customs of the festive season in Chester.
